Amazon bridge memorial, south of Cassino, 7 March 2023 1. This is about 1 km south of the town, off Strada Provinciale 76. Amazon was a Bailey bridge able to carry tanks, and a Bailey bridge section is on display. The bridge crossed the Gari ('Rapido') about 400m east of this memorial.
