Avro Lancaster B1 R5868, RAF Museum, Hendon, 18 September 2007. The oldest surviving Lancaster, it flew a staggering 137 operations with 83, 463 and 467 Squadrons. Seventeen largely complete Lancasters survive, but only two are airworthy, of which PA474 is one.
