1939 - Bristol Beaufort VIII 'DD931', Royal Air Force Museum, Hendon, 10 September 2015 1. The Beaufort torpedo bomber was developed from the Blenheim light bomber. 2175 were built, including 700 in Australia. This example has been assembled from Australian-built components and painted to represent a Mark IIA flown from Malta in 1942 by 42 Sqn RAF. The only other restored Beaufort is in Australia.
