Welcome to the Science Museum store, Wroughton, Wiltshire, 9 September 2015. The store occupies a former RAF mainenance unit airfield about ten miles south of Swindon. A number of hangars survive and are used for storing objects for which there is no space in other museums in the Science Museum Group (Science Museum, London, Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester, National Media Museum, Bradford and National Railway Museum, York and Shildon). The store is not open to the public; the photos in this album were taken during a private visit.
