USA: Curtiss C-46 Commando

Over 3,000 of these transports were built. They were very successful but were overshadowed by the much more numerous Douglas DC-3 / C-47. In 2021 a few C-46s were still in commercial service in Alaska. Here are 21 photos of four survivors.
