Short SB5 WG768, Royal Air Force Museum, Cosford, Fri 14 December 2012. Research aircraft built ito compare alternative wing and tail designs with that proposed by English Electric for their P1. The SB5 first flew in 1952 with the high tail visible at left behind the cockpit. The tail at centre belongs to the P1.
