CFV3V, Belgium, 2011: Steam
51 photos taken at the Chemin de Fer a Vapeur des Trois Vallees (Three Valleys Steam Railway) in southern Belgium. It has a very large collection of industrial steam locos, many of which were working during its autumn steam gala. The line runs from Mariembourg, where there is a working roundhouse, to Treignes, where there is a workshop and museum. At the time of my visit the museum hosted two locos from Belgium's national railway collection (there is no national railway museum): a 4-4-2T derived from a McIntosh design for Scotland's Caledonian Rly, and a mighty Pacific similar in appearance to Gresley's Cock o' the North.
