Furness Rly 0-4-0 No 3 ('Copperknob'), National Railway Museum, York, 2 October 1976. Built in 1846 by Bury, Curtis & Kennedy of Liverpool. Nick-named 'Coppernob' on account of its prominent copper-clad firebox. Withdrawn in 1900 and preserved by the FR. Previously on display in the Clapham museum. Photo by Les Tindall.
