Havenstreet shed, 31 May 2008. W8 Freshwater at left is one of Stroudley's A1x Terrier 0-6-0Ts, built by the LBSCR in 1876. It worked on the Island between 1913 and 1949, and returned in 1979. It got a new boiler in 1998, which is now undergoing its 10 yearly overhaul. 41313 is a former Barry inmate. It came to the Island in 2006, and awaits restoration. I believe the frames of W24 Calbourne were also in the shed; the boiler was under repair at Crewe.
