LMS motor brake third 28249, National Railway Museum, York, Sat 27 March 2010. Built in 1915 as LNWR 31E by Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon with electrical kit by Oerlikon of Switzerland for the London Broad Street - Richmond electrification. The oldest passenger-carrying multiple-unit coach in Britain, it worked until 1960.
