Bure Valley Railway, 2013
29 photos of this 15 inch gauge line opened in 1990 in north Norfolk. It runs from Wroxham, on the Norfolk Broads, to Aylsham, is nine miles long, and occupies one side of the trackbed of a standard gauge line closed in 1982. The other side is a footpath and cycleway. At the time of my visit the Bure Valley's 2-6-4T No 1 Wroxham Broad was helping out the Ravenglass & Eskdale Rly, which was short of locos following a fire, so I did not photograph it.
