Llechwedd slate quarry, Blaenau Ffestiniog, 1974

Six photos by Les Tindall of this 2 foot gauge railway. Most unusually it used electric and battery locos, not steam. The two overhead electric locos had been converted at the quarry from Bagnall 0-4-0STs.
