Charles, Lord Penrhyn's saloon & workman's coach, Penrhyn Castle, Mon 22 August 2011. Penrhyn Rly trains carried quarrymen (who paid for them) between their homes in Bethesda and the Penrhyn quarries in open coaches like the one partially visible at right. The trains ran from 1879 until 1951. All three vehicles are nominal 2ft gauge.
