Guinness Brewery No 13, Narrow Gauge Railway Museum, Tywyn, Thurs 25 August 2011 1. 22 inch gauge 0-4-0T built in 1895, one of a number of such locos supplied for the system in the Guinness brewery in Dublin by the Cork Street Foundry, Dublin. Designed to fit the 'loading gauge' of the horses they replaced, the cylinders are above the boiler and drive vertical connecting rods. The locos could be fitted inside unpowered haulage trucks built to the Irish standard gauge of 5ft 3in, which the 22in gauge loco propelled by means of a friction drive from its driving wheels.
