Devil's Bridge, Wed 24 August 2011. As can be seen, there are three bridges over the River Mynach. The lowest is said to have been built by monks from Strata Florida Abbey in 1087, making it one of the oldest bridges in Britain. The bridge above it was built in 1753, and the topmost in 1901. Beyond the bridge are the Mynach Falls, where the river plummets over 200 ft to join the River Rheidol.
