Maroon 46441 (at back), 'Jane Derbyshire' & John Howe, Carnforth Steamtown, 9 June 1973 In 2010 all three locos were at the Ribble Steam Rly, Preston. 'Jane Darbyshire' is Barclay 0-4-0ST 1969 / 1929 and now (2010) carries its proper name - J N Derbyshire. John Howe is Barclay 0-4-0ST 1147 / 1908. John and 'Jane' both came from the British Gypsum works at Cocklakes near Cumwhinton, and are both named after directors of the company. Partly visible at right is the red cab of David, Barclay 0-4-0 2333 / 1953, which came to Steamtown from Millom Ironworks in 1971, and in 2010 was at the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Rly.
