60 photos of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's annual three day steam tour. In 2009 it ran from Dublin to Westport, Westport to Ballina and return, and back to Dublin. It was hauled by Northern Counties Committee 2-6-4T No 4, built at Derby in 1947.

Quadrupling work in progress, east of Adamstown, 9 May 2009 - 1026 Two additional running lines are being laid from Cherry Orchard near Inchicore to Hazelhatch, 10 miles from Heuston, to cope with suburban traffic. This is part of Irish Rail's 2006 - 2010 Kildare Route Project, which also includes new or better stations, signalling and bridges.
