50 photos of this diesel tour. It was hauled from Dublin via Kilkenny to Waterford by 078. It returned via Limerick Junction behind two of the last operational "Small GMs", Nos 171 & 141. All the Small GMs have since been withdrawn.

GSWR chair, between Tipperary and Limerick Junction, 8 May 2009 The Great Southern & Western was a large and important Irish railway. It was grouped into the Great Southern in 1924, which gives some idea of the age of this chair (and perhaps its sleeper!)
