Ulster Transport Authority No 27 Lough Erne, Whitehead, 1973(?). One of two 0-6-4Ts built by Beyer Peacock (7242 / 1949) for the impoverished cross-border, cattle-carrying Sligo, Leitrim & Northern Counties Rly. It could not pay for them, so Beyer Peacock eventually delivered them on lease in 1951. After the SLNCR closed in 1957 the locos were sold to the UTA. They worked in Belfast docks where No 27 survived until 1970.
