47826 Springburn (1Z52) & 66213, Carlisle, 10 March 2007 - 1814. 47826 stands on the return leg of the 'Cumbrian Coast Pullman'. It was awaiting 71000 Duke of Gloucester, which, with its support coach, would couple in front and work the train to York. This unusual arangement permitted 47826 to heat the train, and saved time at York where the Duke came off and 47826 was in position to work the train to Preston. At right 66213 is recessing into the station with a train of spoil. Another 66 was on the tail, and took the train out to Carlisle new yard.
