Wylam Dilly, National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh, 3 May 2008 1 Built by William Hedley in 1815, Dilly is preserved in the Royal Museum in Edinburgh (now part of the National Museum of Scotland). It is kin to Hedley's better known and earlier Puffing Billy, preserved in the Science Museum, South Kensington. NB that the rails are mounted on stone blocks.
