56301, 6Z34, Carnforth, Thurs 8 January 2015 - 1441. The Devon & Conwall Rlys operated Grid takes an 1105 Chaddesden (Derby) - Shap Summit quarry move past the loop where it had been booked to stop. The loaded train returned from the quarry to Chaddesden the following day. It was due to continue to Hitchin on the 12th. The ballast is for the reconstruction of the branch from Foxton to the Cemex quarry at Barrington, Cambridgeshire, which is being filled in. The Barrington light railway had been the last standard gauge quarry railway in Britain. The 22 VTG PNA box wagons were 3751, 3765, 3762, 3753, 3761, 3782, 3793, 3752, 3787, 3770, 3784, 3776, 3754, 3773, 3788, 3789, 3758, 3778, 3771, 3791, 3792 & 3794. 56301 is owned by the Class 56 Group and on hire to DCR.
