This shot shows four of the five highest mountains in the world: Everest #1, 8848m; Lhotse #4, 8516m; Makalu #5, 8463m; and Kangchenjunga #3, 8586m. All are in Nepal except Kangchenjuna, far to the east in Sikkim, India. The second highest peak is K2, 8760m, far to the west in the Karakoram in Pakistan.
