Erie Lackawanna Hoboken Terminal, New Jersey, 12 May 2017 - 1350. Commuter rail terminal built by the Delaware, Laackawanna & Western Railroad and still in use today. Rapid transit trains and ferries connect the terminal with lower Manhattan. The Lackawanna merged with the Erie RR in 1960; the combined company failed and was incorporated in Conrail in 1976. Some of its tracks are still used by Norfolk Southern and other railroads. Photographed during a Circle Line boat ride round Manhattan.
